What Is the DEKA CO2 Laser?
The DEKA CO2 laser is a soft-tissue dental laser that uses a focused wavelength of light to interact with water-rich tissues in the mouth and throat. Because it is so precise and effective, we can target the treatment area while limiting effects on nearby tissue. In many cases, this means less bleeding, less swelling, and a more comfortable experience.
During treatment, the laser delivers controlled energy to the selected tissue. For airway treatment, that energy stimulates collagen remodeling, which can firm and tighten the soft palate, tonsillar area, and other upper-airway tissues. For oral soft tissue concerns, the laser can disinfect, seal small blood vessels, and treat surface areas with remarkable accuracy and efficiency.
What Conditions Can the DEKA CO2 Laser Treat?
